This website

appfactory.uk sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties: the fonts and icons are served from this site. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the site.

When you buy

Polar is the merchant of record. It collects your name, email, billing address and payment details to process the order, taxes, invoices and refunds, and sends us your name, email and order details so we can deliver the license and support you. See Polar's privacy policy.

The software

AppFactory runs on your Mac and sends no telemetry. Your keys, settings and projects stay on your computer, and calls to Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat and other services go straight from your Mac to those services under your accounts. The only call made for AppFactory itself is the license check: about once a week it sends your license key, your computer's name and an anonymous hash of its hardware id (so a license runs on one computer) to Polar, which also sees your IP address.

When you email us

We keep support emails for as long as we need them to help you and to keep records of what we agreed, then delete them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the KVKK), you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Legal bases

We process purchase and license data to perform our contract with you, support emails for our legitimate interest in helping customers, and records we must keep to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
